Hello there!
For my first post I thought I should introduce myself... I'm Tisha Bottoms, an introvert-lover of people-led by Jesus, wife, mom, friend, crafter and so much more! As a human I wear many hats, and I'm sure it's the same for you. 😊 I enjoy using emojis way too much! I may or may not use too many exclamation marks... A single period can be so boring, maybe one day I will mature a bit, but who knows...If I had to choose between home with my family or out with a crowd, I will almost always choose the former. Nothing against others, I just have my favorites. 😉
My hubby, Chris, and I met in 2000 at the tender ages of 14 and 16. We made a life long commitment when we said, ''I do'' in 2007. ❤ I'm sure I will share pieces of us and our adventures.
We have 4 kiddos.. 2 of which are girls- Ray, Ri, and 2 boys- Nate, and D. I became a mom in 2008 and my last birthing experience was in 2018. Motherhood is crazy rewarding and stressful all at the same time! I homeschooled for a spell, but now my eldest 3 are in public school, leaving D and I at home together. ❤
I'm a bit of a creative who likes to dabble in an array of crafts and other creative expressions. My interests include sewing, painting, journaling, writing, cooking/baking, and more.
My first crafting love is sewing. I sewed some in middle school but lost my way with it before too long. When Ray was a few months old I started sewing again and haven't looked back. 😁
Painting is another creative outlet for me. My favorite place to paint is right in the pages of my bible. This is also the primary place I practice my hand lettering, and it is a prime spot to tuck in drawings.... Anything to help write the Word of God on my heart. ❤ this sort of journaling has taken my relationship with Jesus deeper than I ever imagined!! ❤💜
With that said, I'm still looking for a faithful way to journal my thoughts and use a planner and a bujo?? ...
Spending time in the kitchen with my family brings great joy! We can be preparing meals or desserts, eating, reading, crafting, learning/teaching, experimenting, cleaning, (yes even cleaning...for everything is better when we do it together!), the meal table is the heartbeat of the home and love is the heartbeat of the family.
My goals with this blog are simply to encourage, entertain and share tips.
Oh and beware... I can over share at times... so heartache and struggles I face will come out and my prayer is for my pain to encourage maybe even teach you. ❤❤
